Understanding 317LMN Stainless Steel: Properties and Applications

Alloyed with higher levels of molybdenum and nitrogen compared to conventional stainless steels like 316L and 317L, 317LMN offers exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. In its annealed state, the alloy is non-magnetic and exhibits greater creep strength, stress-to-rupture performance, and tensile strength when subjected to high-temperature conditions.
